Steel Fence Panels

Steel fencing is extremely popular today as it is a versatile form of fencing that can be used for a variety of purposes, from decorative additions to a garden or providing privacy and security for a home or business.

Steel fence panels have been the preferred choice for many people instead of traditional timber panels for many reasons. They don’t need a touch-up every year with weather-resistant varnish to make sure they don’t rot, they don’t get knocked down easily in a storm and they are a sturdy boundary security solution. They are extremely cost-effective and maintenance-free with a life expectancy of over 30 years and they are available in a variety of colours to suit your surroundings.

WHY CHOOSE OUR STEEL FENCE PANELS?

Our panels are made out of high-quality galvanised steel and finished with a superior PVC plastisol coated finish in a wide range of colours and sizes ranging from 2ft to 6ft in height (other sizes also available upon request). They are extremely durable, sure to last over 30 years.

RHINO FENCE PANELS – PRODUCT DETAILS

We supply two types of galvanised steel fence panels:

  1. Vertical Panels
  2. Horizontal Panels

1. VERTICAL PANELS

Vertical Steel Fence Panels

These panels are custom-made by professional fabricators, they are extremely robust with a superior PVC plastisol coating in a choice of colours; Juniper Green, Olive Green, Slate Blue/Grey, Merlin Grey, Goosewing Grey, Black, Terracotta, Van Dyke Brown, Mahogany Wood Grain, Heritage Green and Dark Green.

The reverse of each panel is a very light grey polyester finish that can be sprayed or painted (we can supply RAL or BS colour numbers to match).

They come in standard 6ft (1.83m) widths and in any height to suit, ie, 2ft (0.61m), 3ft (0.91m), 4ft (1.2m), 5ft (1.52m), 5ft 6″ (1.68m), 6ft (1.83m).

These will slot nicely in between standard 6ft concrete posts if replacing existing timber fence panels on concrete gravel boards. If you don’t already have gravel boards, we can supply these or use a treated decking timber board for the fence panel to sit on. They could also be fitted with a slight gap between the panel and the floor.

We manufacture a U-shape capping (with welts) that runs up each side and across the top to frame the panel, this can be the same colour as the fence panels or offset with a different colour depending upon your preference and surroundings.

FITTING VERTICAL PANELS

To fit these panels you simply slot them straight into existing concrete posts on top of gravel boards if they are already in place, or slightly off the ground if not. If you are fitting a brand new fence and replacing the old posts then you have a choice of using timber posts, slotted timber posts or concrete slotted posts. 2. HORIZONTAL PANELS

These panels are fitted horizontally and extremely cost-effective as you can go up to 3m centres with posts, instead of standard 6ft (1.83m) with vertical panels.

For example, if you have 60m to fence you would need approximately 33 posts with vertical panels, however running sheets horizontally at 3m centres you would only need 20 posts.

You also do not need gravel boards as the galvanised steel panels can go directly onto the ground.

Horizontal steel fence panels are extremely robust with a superior PVC plastisol coating in a choice of colours; Juniper Green, Olive Green, Slate Blue/Grey, Merlin Grey, Goosewing Grey, Black, Terracotta and Van Dyke Brown. The reverse of each panel is a very light grey polyester finish that can be sprayed or painted (we can supply RAL or BS colour numbers to match).

They come in any width to suit and are 1m cover in height per panel but can be overlapped to achieve 1m, 2m, 3m height etc.

We manufacture a U-shape capping (with welts) that run up the sides and across the top to frame the panels:

FITTING HORIZONTAL PANELS

To fit these panels you need 4ft or 6ft concrete posts fitted 2ft or 3ft into the ground, bolt timber posts to the concrete posts and tek screw through the flat part of the panels into the timber. The strength comes from the profiles on the sheets. If the ground is uneven you can step the panels up or down.
